Her training in the healing arts began as a child raised with traditional Persian cultural knowledge. Similar to Traditional Chinese and Ayurvedic Medicines, the daily motions within Iranian culture are a dialogue towards harmony and health through food & herbal medicines, ritual & ceremony, and the acknowledgment of ancestral, seasonal, and natural forces.

She had a life-changing experience while watching a video of a natural birth when she was 8 or 9, and has carried a life-long learning and deep respect of the human body, cellular functions, and all things holistic ever since... our natural healing and transformational capacity is truly amazing! 

Hedieh was growing and gathering veggies out of the garden, attending a Buddhist temple, and beginning to learn about North American herbal plants as she studied molecular biology during her University years. Her passionate nature led to advocacy for minority and immigrant youth as a lifetime-credentialed educator in the public school storms of Oakland, Ca. and Northern New Mexico. Tending to herself during extended deep-healing wellness journeys is another strong influence crafting the art of subtle, multi-layered body energetic awareness and her capacity to assist others.

Hedieh has shared her knowledge through traditional storytelling ritual performances, herbal wellness classes, private mentorships, and is continually humbled in awe by the magnitude of knowledge shared within the everyday ordinary extraordinary interspecies tribal meeting called Life.
